Do you know if you sit properly?
Have you found yourself curled up in a chair then have trouble standing from sitting in that position to long? Or when you are sitting at your desk on the computer for most of the day and start feeling back pain across your back or your lower back? Here are just a few tips on HOW TO SIT PROPERLY. It is important that you keep your feet on the floor or on a footrest and don't cross your legs. Your ankles should be in front of your knees and your knees should be at or below the level of your hips. Keep a small gap between the back of your knees and the back of the chair. Be mindful of the adjustment of your backrest of the chair, support your low-mid back or use a support device. Be sure to relax your shoulders and keep your forearms parellel to the ground. Avoid sitting in the same position for long periods of time.
